What You Will Be Doing  
As a medical registrar, under supervisor of senior medical staff and in collaboration with the broader team, you are expected to deliver exemplary medical care commensurate you’re your capabilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 
In addition, the role is designed to allow you to meet the clinical and learning requirements set by the RACP. Rotations include General Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Renal, Oncology, Haematology, Infectious diseases, Perioperative Medicine, Geriatrics and Intensive Care Medicine. There is also the opportunity to rotate through General Medicine at Rosebud Hospital and Alfred Health. It is an expectation and training requirement for you to rotate to either of the rural sites within our consortium, Mildura base Hospital or Golburn Valley Health. 
A robust education program is provided to ensure you successfully meet the exit requirements of the RACP BPT program, the written and clinical examination.

What You Need 
We anticipate you will have: 
Essential Criteria: MBBS, Current general medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia and successful completion of Post Graduate Year 2  
Desirable Criteria:   successfully completed first year of RACP accredited basic physician training

*Please refer to Doctors in Training (Victorian Public Health Sector) (AMA Victoria/ASMOF) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
