What You Will Be Doing
Are you passionate about a career in health? An opportunity exists for a new graduate or early career Social Worker to join the Peninsula Health Social Work Department on a full time, fixed term basis until mid December 2025. As a Grade 1 Social Worker on the rotations program, you will be supported to develop your knowledge and skills. You will receive regular supervision and participate in seminars specifically designed to enhance your professional development. You will commence at The Mornington Centre, surrounded by experienced clinicians working with older adults and their families in a GEM setting. You will be supported by a dedicated Site Senior Social Worker. You will work respectfully and autonomously with consumers and their carers to complete psychosocial assessments, plan interventions, respond to risk and contribute dynamically to patient-centred discharge planning.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
∙ You will need to hold a Bachelor Degree or Qualifying Masters in Social Work. Post graduate studies are highly regarded and may be eligible for a higher education allowance.
∙ As a multi-site organisation you may be required to work across sites. You will have access to our extensive pool of fleet cars and will need a Victorian Drivers licence.

PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021- 2026 for Salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
