What You Will Be Doing
Carinya is a 26 bed purpose built Aged Persons Mental Health residential Care Facility designed to provide high level specialist nursing care to residents with complex mental health diagnoses who are unable to be managed effectively in a generic aged care facility.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a valued and integral member of the Peninsula Health multidisciplinary team demonstrating flexibility in caring for patients and their families across the organisation. Opportunity to cover In Charge shifts is available for suitably skilled RNs when ANUM is unavailable. The RN works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes for older people.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
•Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
•Completion of a graduate year program
•Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Act 1997
•Exceptional communication and organisational skills
