The Team & Role
This role provides essential frontline administrative support at Rosebud Hospital, delivering a professional, welcoming, and informative reception for all patients and visitors. The Ward Clerk reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the service where they are employed, where they work closely to assist with daily operations. Responsibilities include accurate and timely patient registrations, admissions, transfers, and discharges, as well as general clerical support to the NUM, Director, and broader clinical team. The position requires a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering consistently high levels of customer service.
This position is for 4 shifts per fortnight:
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in week 1
- Monday in week 2

Skills & Experience Required
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
- Sets personal standards of excellence and measures and delivers outcomes in a timely manner.
- Addresses priority tasks first.
- Understands the purpose of, and is able to use, common software applications and email.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in a health setting
- Experience with AROC data entry
