Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.
The Team & Role
This casual Dietitian role at Bayside Health (Peninsula) works with the interdisciplinary team to deliver dietetic services across inpatient acute and subacute sites, including Peninsula University Hospital, Rosebud Hospital, Golf Links Road and The Mornington Centre. Approximately 80-90% of the position is allocated to management of a clinical caseload, with professional and operational management provided through Senior Dietitians and the Head of Nutrition and Dietetics. Staff are supported by a more senior dietitian and have access to regular supervision and professional development opportunities. The role requires appropriate clinical experience in the inpatient setting, clear and effective communication, collaboration and teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving, organisation skills, consumer service, emotional intelligence, continuous learning, and being open to change and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
- Member or eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Recent clinical dietetic experience in an adult and/or paediatric inpatient setting
- Conducts evidence based practice and is committed to professional development
