What You Will Be Doing

The Falls Prevention Service at Peninsula Health involves a multidisciplinary team that provides subacute and acute inpatient services to promote falls prevention strategies and to reduce patient harm from falls across the organisation. The Falls Prevention Clinical Lead will deliver specialist advice and interventions in reducing falls. This will include undertaking patient assessments and reviews, delivering training and education, management of clinical liaison work, risk management and being a key adviser for the divisional teams.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:

• Current Nurse or Allied Health AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated capacity and initiative to work with limited direction, including effective time management.

 

• Experience in a leadership or management role. (Desirable) 

• A particular expertise in plastics & orthopaedic (Desirable)

*Please refer to salary circular NURSES AND MIDWIVES EBA (VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2024 – 2028 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
