The Team & Role
Frankston Hospital Emergency Department continues to grow to meet the needs of our community, providing care to a diverse and increasing patient population. As part of this growth, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Emergency Education Team.
The Clinical Nurse Educator - Emergency is an integral member of the education and clinical leadership teams, supporting the development of a highly skilled, confident and capable nursing workforce. The role focuses on education initiatives that enhance patient safety, advance clinical practice and support staff progression from novice to expert.
Working collaboratively with nursing, medical and multidisciplinary teams, you will participate in the planning, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of Emergency Department education programs, orientation, competency assessment and workforce development initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required
- Registered Nurse with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Significant Emergency Nursing experience in a busy acute care environment
- Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
- Demonstrated experience in clinical education, teaching, preceptorship or staff development
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
