The Team & Role
The Dental Assistant (DA) is a key member of the wider multi-disciplinary dental team. This role has a focus on providing safe, personal, effective and connected care to members of our community. The DA not only provides efficient and effective support for clinicians, but also contributes to the smooth running of the dental program and the delivery of quality customer service to our clients and their families. The role has a focus on public health and providing the highest quality of care and following the guidelines set out by National Safety and Quality Health Services. Dental Assistants at this level are considered to be experienced, working in more complex work environments and /or specialist areas.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
• Experience in Dental Software ( i.e. Titanium)
Desirable:
• Experience working within public health service
