What You Will Be Doing
This PGY3+ Critical Care placement is designed to provide appropriate exposure and experience to enable the junior doctor to consolidate their learning from their PGY2 year, and attain the required skills and knowledge relevant for each rotation. Skills progression should assist the PGY3+ to meet the entry requirements for specialist training programs in the fields of critical care.
Under the direction of more experienced medical staff, primarily registrars, and through collaboration with other health professionals, the resident provides effective appropriate medical care commensurate with their capabilities and in accordance with delegated clinical privileges that vary from site to site.
You will rotate through the following areas:
- Anaesthetics
- Emergency
- Intensive Care Unit
- Frankston Public Surgery Centre

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- MBBS or Equivalent
- General Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Previous experience in critical care rotations

Doctors in Training (Victorian Public Health Sector) (AMA Victoria/ASMOF) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
