What You Will Be Doing 

The Women’s Health Unit at Bayside Health is looking to recruit RANZCOG Accredited Advanced Registrars in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join our team. Positions are available for 12-month terms for the 2027 training year, and are designed to support Generalist O&G and special interest ATMs. This position requires registration in the Victorian RANZCOG Advanced Training Matching Process. The role may include Registrar responsibilities at Peninsula University Hospital, Frankston Surgical Centre, Sandringham Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospital.

 

Our Obstetrics service provides care for around 3000 births per year with pregnancies of a range of complexities. We have a rapidly growing Gynaecology service, with great surgical training opportunities. We pride ourselves on a culture of support and mentoring, and a strong collaborative relationship with midwives, nurses, allied health and other specialty teams. Research and academic opportunities are available with onsite and tertiary affiliate support.

 What You Need

  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA General, limited or provisional registration as a Medical Practitioner
  • Australian O&G experience of minimum one year
  • O&G Registrar experience of minimum four years
  • RANZCOG Accredited Registrar with an Advanced training position matched to Bayside Health at the time of commencement
