What You Will Be Doing
The administration assistant / officer will provide a variety of services to the Diabetes Education Department, Paediatric Diabetes Clinic, Nutrition and Dietetics and Frankston Community Health. The appointed person will require a hard working job ethic and be detail oriented in a predominantly patient centred environment. The administrative and clerical support will be provided to medical nursing, allied health and outpatient clinics and service twenty plus clinical staff. The administrative assistant / officer will require exceptional office organisation to maximise efficiency for the tasks required by the four departments and also act as a liaison between these departments.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a healthcare or medical environment.
• Proficient in iPM, Oracle and Mastercare+ programs, amongst other various programs
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication for liaising with patients, staff and external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate with professionalism and sensitivity in both emotional and stressful situations.
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and database skills, including BEIMS
