The Team & Role
This Allied Health Assistant position supports the facilitation and coordination of the Karingal Hub Health walks. The role as a walk leader will require collaboration and coordination between the Karingal Hub shopping centre management team, Early Intervention in Chronic Disease (EIiCD) team leader, Community Health volunteers, the Volunteer coordinator and the walk participants.
The AHA role has both clinical & non-clinical duties to ensure clients receive high quality, timely, safe and effective care.

Skills & Experience Required
• Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistance) or equivalent qualification
• Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant in a group setting
• High standard of verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer literacy skills
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Ability to plan and manage own workload
• Ability to work as an effective team member and actively support change by adjusting work practices
• An understanding of and commitment to, the principles of occupational health and safety
