What You Will Be Doing  

The Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimisation of Peninsula Health’s Asset Management Framework, aligning it with the transition of responsibilities to Project Co (Exemplar Health/Honeywell) post-January 2026. This includes managing existing assets, coordinating with external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and frameworks, such as the Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF).
This role requires a forward-thinking approach to empower teams, provide strategic asset management advice, and prepare Peninsula Health for the operational handover of asset responsibilities while maintaining robust oversight and data accuracy.

What You Need 

We anticipate you will have: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Facilities Management, Asset Management, or a related field.

  • Experience in strategic asset management, lifecycle planning, and data governance.

  • Strong knowledge of asset management frameworks, including AMAF and ISO 55001.

  • Experience with asset management systems (e.g., BEIMS/QFM) and analytics.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in the healthcare sector or a regulated industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to ensure high-quality asset data integrity and accuracy.

  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and best practices in asset management.

  • Demonstrated report writing ability

  • Experience in a health care setting (desirable)

*Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers And Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
