What You Will Be Doing
The Clinical Administration Specialist role position is an integral and valued member of the Revenue Services Team. This role is responsible for completion of clinical notes for Acute Care Certificates & other relating certificates required for bed stay billing. The role will also assist with interpreting clinical notes to ensure correct billing, assisting with telephone enquiries, and liaising with private health funds in relation to clinical documentation and funding for private admissions.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Clinical nursing background for completion of Acute Care Certificates
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in all aspects of the role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in dispute resolution with private health funds to maximise revenue (desirable)

*Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers And Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
