  • Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant C-Year 2 or Allied Health Professional Grade 3 (plus super)

Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026. 

 

The Team & Role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Clinical Equipment Coordinator to establish and lead a coordinated clinical equipment lifecycle program that optimises asset utilisation, reduces rental spend, and enhances patient and staff safety. 

In this pivotal role, you will implement and oversee a Central Equipment Library, standardise procurement processes, and drive governance for equipment management across all sites. Your responsibilities include managing equipment distribution, coordinating repairs, and supporting data-driven decision-making to achieve measurable cost savings and efficiency improvements. This is a 12 month fixed term role with hours negotiable up to full time hours.

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Operational experience in acute health
  • Post graduate qualifications in business and or a health-related discipline, equivalent experience
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated contribution towards organisation accreditation processes
  • Competent using a range of software applications
  • Identifys and understands the long-term impact of courses of action on the organisations objectives

    (Desirable)
  •  AHPRA-registered professional or Registered Nurse
  • Data literacy for spend analysis and KPI tracking
  • Problem solving and invoice management experience with external suppliers
  • Experience in clinical equipment coordination/asset management in acute care settings
  • Capability familiarity with Oracle or similar procurement systems
