What You Will Be Doing
The MSNI CNCs primary responsibility is the triaging of patient referrals and development and coordination of treatment plans for patients diagnosed with MS and other neurological disorders, within the Infusion centre but also in the community.
As the Infusion centre MSNI CNC you will be considered part of the senior nursing team within our small niche department. Although the primary focus of this position will be neurology patients, as
part of infusion centre team there may be times, you’re required step into other senior position within the team to assist with the day-to-day flow of the Infusion centre. You will also work very closely with speciality medical units, specifically neurology to provide comprehensive treatment plans and care coordination for neurology and infusion centre patients, including but not limited to the management of the Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) and Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin therapy (SCIg) programs.
What You Need We anticipate you will have:
• Be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA
• Hold, or be working towards a Post Graduate Qualification in MS Certified Nurse or neurology.
• Extensive post registration experience preferably with 2-3 years of experience within an Infusion centre/Medical day unit or MS neurological role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office, and competent in iPM, Clover and CHARM applications and MSBase
• Working knowledge and experience in administration of blood products and monoclonal antibodies.

*Please refer to salary circular NURSES AND MIDWIVES (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2024 – 2028 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
