On 1st January 2026, five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health; a newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1st January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.
The Team & Role
This role will report to the Operations Manager Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and provide support in compliance processes activity to validate the delivery of contractual obligations provided by the PPP partners. You will:
- Provide assistance and advice to the Operations Manager PPP and other Peninsula Health Stakeholders.
- Identify areas where contracts are missing or incomplete and collaborate with the Operations Manager PPP and stakeholders to address those gaps.
- Accurately enter contract data into the electronic contracts management system, ensuring completeness and consistency. This includes inputting essential contract details such as parties involved, contract terms, obligations, milestones, and key dates.
- Support compliance with PPP contractual obligations, including evidence gathering, reporting, and audit preparation.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A good working knowledge of commercial contracts, including key clauses, best practice in contract administration and supplier management.
- Track minor works requests and ensure approvals/variations are logged.
- Support preparation of compliance submissions for PCG meetings, audits, and Board reporting.
- Assist in the monitoring of Contiguous System Assets (CSA) performance and coordinate with Project Co on shared system integrity.

Skills and Experience Required
Essential Criteria
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to acquire information with diplomacy, tact and discretion and to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels with respect and confidence. This includes excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders in providing expert contract management advice and compliance support.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated investigative and analytical skills including the ability to use MS Office Applications and electronic contract/asset management systems.
Desirable Criteria
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years’ relevant commercial or contractual experience with a proven track record in negotiating, drafting and administering contracts, preferably within a public procurement environment.
