The Team & Role

Our Community Health Counselling Service supports individuals, young people and families across the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula who are experiencing mild‑to‑moderate mental health concerns, chronic conditions or psychosocial challenges. As a Counsellor, you’ll provide high‑quality, person‑centred counselling, casework and group programs that make a meaningful impact in people’s lives.

In this varied role, you’ll manage a clinical caseload, deliver evidence‑based interventions and ensure accurate documentation and record keeping. You’ll also help clients navigate additional health and community services through timely referrals, and contribute to mental health promotion, community education and group program delivery alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.

This is a role for someone who is reflective, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development. You’ll draw on strong communication skills, emotional intelligence and sound clinical judgement to meet the diverse needs of our community while helping drive positive outcomes for clients and the broader service.
