On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.  

The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health

What You Will Be Doing   

Are you an experienced and passionate Critical Care Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference? Our busy and dynamic Frankston Emergency Department is seeking skilled nurses to join our supportive, multidisciplinary team.

 

Here, no two days are the same. You’ll be at the frontline of emergency care, working in a fast-paced environment where your expertise and commitment will directly impact the lives of patients and their families.

 

Our Frankston Emergency Department has 5 state of the art Resus Bays including a class-N negative pressure room, 4 Paediatric cubicles with a dedicated separate waiting area, 10 bed Fast Track area and 30 Short Stay beds.  In Rosebud our Emergency Department comprises of nine general cubicles, six fast track/multipurposed cubicles and an eight bed Short Stay Unit. With a wide range of professional development opportunities and access to the latest medical advancements, you'll thrive as you enhance your skills. We have permanent part time or fixed term roles available.

 

PD Emergency Department  

What You Need  

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA 

• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience and scope of practice in the specialty of Emergency or Critical Care.
• Passion to work in a fast paced, supportive team environment 

• Availability to work across a 7 day rotating roster
• A Post Graduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing or working towards

*Please refer to Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single Interest Employer Agreement 2024-2028 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
