What You Will Be Doing
This is an opportunity for a Grade 2 or experienced Grade 1 Dietitian to join our Acute Rehabilitation Program in a limited term, part time role based at Frankston Hospital.
The Acute Rehabilitation Program (ARP) is a multidisciplinary service that provides early rehabilitation in an acute setting. The Grade 2 Dietitian in the ARP works with the multidisciplinary team to assist patients in regaining their function and independence and facilitate an early supported discharge home where appropriate. The Grade 2 Dietitian supports patient-centred goal setting and provides high quality assessment, management and discharge planning to assist the patient in meeting their goals.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Member or eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and the APD program
- Recent clinical dietetic experience in an inpatient setting, with at least 3 years post-graduate experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a variety of settings
- Monitors own performance. Takes an organised and methodical approach to the prioritisation of tasks and regularly plans and tracks progress
- Conducts evidence based practice and is committed to professional development
- Ability to be an effective team member within the ARP, Nutrition and Dietetics department and in multidisciplinary team settings
- Demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of quality improvement activities
- Ability to supervise and mentor Grade 1 dietitians, AHA’s and/or students

*Please refer to salary circular for Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists Victorian Public Sector (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise agreement 2021-2025, for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
