With more than 7,500 staff, Peninsula Care Group (PCG) operates the new Peninsula University and Rosebud Hospital among other sites and facilities. The group also operates MePACS, a personal alarm service, which cares for around 50,000 elderly and vulnerable people across Australia.

 

The foundation of Bayside Health’s People and Culture Division (P&C) is service delivery excellence. As an enabling function, P&C exists to support the workforce to focus on the delivery of patient care/research and has a pivotal role to play in supporting the integration of Bayside Health services.

Reporting to Bayside Health’s Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) the role sits within an integrated matrix structure to deliver frontline people services at PCG, supported by specialist expertise from Centres of Excellence teams. As part of the P&C Leadership Group, the role will support the delivery of a future People Strategy for Bayside Health.

The Director, People Services PCG is responsible for leading:

  • People Services: Employee Lifecycle, Contract Administration, P&C Reporting
  • Business Partnering: HR Advisory, P&C Program/ Change Implementation, Case Management
  • Recruitment: Support and administration, Workforce Planning
  • Systems and Processes: Systems Support, Policies and Processes, Continuous Improvement

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant deep subject matter expertise in leading frontline HR services and advancing HR practices in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation
  • Recent senior leadership experience leading Business Partners, designing services and delivering service excellence at scale, including digital and technology integration
  • Strong history of strategic and operational delivery with the ability to balance long term goals with immediate operational needs
  • Collaborative and constructive leadership behaviours to foster a positive, high-performing workplace
