The Team & Role
We are looking for an organised Donor Relations Officer to join our team in Philanthropy.
In this role, you will help us increase philanthropic support with our donors, engage staff and increase community awareness of Peninsula HealthYou’ll be part of a team that is high achieving, driven, and supportive, where working towards our collective mission is at the heart of what we do. 
In this role, you’ll be the link that keeps our donors engaged, providing them with an excellent experience, managing appeals and maintaining our systems. Our day to day is busy, eventful, fast paced, and fun, and there’s nothing quite like enjoying the huge sense of achievement when we hit our fundraising goals.
You’ll enjoy the benefits of family friendly hours, hybrid work (home and office), and plenty of training opportunities, while making a direct impact on our organisations ability to deliver health care to our community, funding items for the hospital that would not otherwise be possible without our team and the connections we make with our donors.

Skills and Experience Required
- Strong ability to build, maintain, and solicit relationships with donors and prospects through personal engagement, effective communication and tailored stewardship.
- Sector knowledge – active knowledge of best practices and regulatory changes within the fundraising sector.
- Well-developed skills in CRM, proficient in Office 365 suite.
- Experience working in healthcare or health focused organisation (desirable)
