On 1st January 2026, five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health; a newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1st January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.
The Team & Role
Bass Ward is a 32 bed medical ward with capacity for cardiac monitoring (for non cardiac patients) and is the admitting ward for Covid screened patients. We have an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join our team in a fixed term role working 56 hours per fortnight.

Skills and Experience Required
Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Recent nursing experience in a medical and covid ward
Experience caring for patients on Telemetry
Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers
Availability to work across a 7 day rotating roster

*Please refer to Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single Interest Employer Agreement 2024-2028 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
