The Team & Role
This position sits within Community Health and plays a vital role in supporting safer roads and healthier communities. The team delivers the VicRoads Drink Drug Drive Behaviour Change Program (DDD BCP), working with individuals who are required to complete the program as part of their licence re‑instatement process.
The program supports participants to explore their values, build insight, and take practical steps to separate substance use from driving. The team operates within a respectful, client‑centred, and evidence‑based framework, with a strong focus on accountability, behaviour change, and community safety.
As a DDD BCP Facilitator, you will deliver both group-based Behaviour Change Programs and individual sessions, in line with the VicRoads program manual. The program is grounded in a Motivational Interviewing framework, and facilitators work to create a safe, non‑judgemental environment that encourages engagement, reflection, and meaningful change.
In addition to program delivery, the role includes screening for alcohol and other drug (AOD) use, identifying risk and need, and providing assertive referrals to appropriate services where required. Accurate documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks are integral to the role and align with other clinical positions within Community Health.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role for a skilled facilitator who is confident working with complex group dynamics, committed to continuous learning, and motivated to support positive behaviour change while meeting strict VicRoads compliance requirements.
