The Team & Role

The Financial Accountant will be a key member in a team that is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the financial information reported to the organisation. The role will take a holistic view to financial compliance requirements of Peninsula Health and will contribute to the various financial outcomes of Peninsula Health.  Responsibilities will include month end financial compliance activities such as government related reporting, treasury activities, lease accounting, employee provision review and cash flow analysis. Given the breadth of tasks, the role will involve working closely with other staff both within the finance function and the wider organisation. This role would also support the Financial Reporting Manager in project work that leads to the development of new financial processes across Peninsula Health. Projects would aim to further enhance the capability of reporting and integrity of information as well as drive greater efficiencies across Peninsula Health.

Essential       

  • Tertiary accounting qualification
  • ERP System Experience

Desirable     

  • Healthcare/Not for Profit/Government sector experience
