The Team & Role
As an Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2), you’ll be part of a collaborative Allied Health team, working under the guidance of experienced clinicians and a Grade 3 AHA within a strong clinical governance framework.
You’ll deliver delegated, evidence‑based therapy to children and young people aged 0–18 years through the Peninsula Health NDIS Children’s Team. This includes supporting individual and group therapy programs, assisting with aids and equipment, and working across disciplines such as Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Dietetics.
This role suits someone who is organised, confident working with delegated programs, and passionate about family‑centred, child‑safe care for children with developmental delays and disabilities.

Skills & Experience Required
- Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistants) or equivalent including working towards a relevant Allied Health
professional qualification - Skills and commitment to working in child-centred and family-focused practices including skills in working
with vulnerable and disadvantaged families. - Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the principles of consumer directed
care. - Experience delivering Allied Health Professional delegated programs for groups or individuals
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise duties.
- Holder of a current ‘Working with Children Check’, NDIS compliance check and current Victorian Driver’s
License
