What You Will Be Doing
The Instrument Technician Grade 5 is required to efficiently and effectively supervise Instrument Technicians on duty ensuring all staff are working per AS5369 standard. The Grade 5 Instrument Technician will demonstrate leadership and lead by example ensuring a safe work environment demonstrating good communication skills with an ability to multitask and prioritise workload. This includes a range of duties that contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The Instrument Technician Grade 4 is accountable for the provision of all aspects in the sterilising process, in line with AS 5369, guidelines and policies of Peninsula Health.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Certificate IV in sterilisation.
- Experience in a similar role, with more than four years’ experience full time equivalent
- Experience in a team leader/supervisor role preferable
- Experience working with TDoc tracking system an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of AS5369 standard
