What You Will Be Doing 
The Inventory Co-ordinator is an integral and valued member of the wider Operating Suite team. This role is responsible for managing the ordering, supply, monitoring and reporting of instrument and medical consumables to the Operating Suite from a single storeroom that complies with recommended standards. The role is also responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Inventory Support Staff allocated to assist with storage of stock deliveries, general cleaning and supporting all hospital areas as required.

What You Need  
We anticipate you will have:  
• Completed certificate in storage and handling of sterile stock 
• Advanced computer skills including the ability to use computerised inventory systems 
• Ensures project objectives are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging 
issues 
• Working knowledge of medical and surgical instrument consumables 
• Accepts responsibility for own actions 
• Negotiates and implements a well-planned course of action to achieve a specific impact
• Investigates, probes and analyses issues from different perspectives and draws sound 
inferences 
• Promptly follows through on enquiries, requests and complaints
