What You Will Be Doing
The Peninsula Health Mental Health and AOD Crisis Hub (MHAOD Crisis Hub) provides high quality mental health and drug and alcohol assessments and treatment to individuals and families.
The MHAOD Crisis Hub will provide a responsive and coordinated service for people presenting with mental health and/or drug and alcohol problems.
The MHAOD Crisis Hub ensures that individuals are seen in a timely manner, provides high quality follow up and provides a positive experience for individuals and families.
Responsibilities will include:
- Mental Health and AOD Consultation Liaison Service in the Emergency Department
- A short stay unit (five beds) within the ED for patients who require stabilisation and intensive support for a period of time that is clinically appropriate
- Assertive outreach team for up to 28 days following discharge
The Grade 4 position will work predominantly within the Assertive Outreach Team; however, they may be required to work across all areas of the MHAOD Crisis Hub.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
- RPN’s Only - Post graduate qualification in Mental Health and additional qualification in AOD
- Experience in the Mental Health and/or AOD field

*Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2020-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
