On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing
The Older Adult Community Mental Health Team is a specialist multi-disciplinary and integrated service that provides a broad range of interventions, care coordination and support for older people experiencing severe and persistent mental health disorders and their carers.
The Older Adult Mental Health Clinician will plan, evaluate and review care, undertaking face-to-face assessments and contributing to recovery care plans. The role requires frequent liaison with external services and internal multi-disciplinary team.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Qualifications as a Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with relevant registration to the required registration bodies.
- Proven ability in the management of clients with a major mental health illness and in the techniques of assessment and crisis intervention, and recovery frameworks
- Experience working in an acute inpatient
- Current Victorian Drivers License
