Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.
The Team & Role
The NDIS Intake & Administration Officer plays a critical role within Bayside Health (Peninsula) NDIS Service. They are responsible for processing NDIS service referrals and the day-to-day financial activities relating to NDIS, including maintenance of NDIS client register, service agreements, portal bookings, processing NDIS claims, invoices and debt recovery.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a genuine commitment to high quality outcomes for NDIS participants, carers and the organisation with a focus on continuous process improvement.
To be successful in the position, the candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to meet each of the selection criteria outlined below. This is a fast-paced role, which requires a high level of attention to detail.

Skills & Experience Required
- Knowledge of health and disability service systems and an ability to navigate effectively to get the best outcomes for people requiring assistanc
- Good understanding of Microsoft Systems, including proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook and capacity to quickly learn new financial software system
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication, planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Good time management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and to display initiative in relation to continuous improvement
- Able to build rapport and develop ongoing relationships with key stakeholders required to support administration processes
- Experience in Customer Service
- Hold a current Victorian Working with Children Check
- Hold or able to attain a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check at your own cost, prior to employment commencing
