What You Will Be Doing
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging examinations and producing diagnostic images. The NMT will be able to effectively manage and prioritise their workflow, providing the best patient care at all times. Key responsibilities include conducting diagnostic examinations consistent with the ALARA principles, policies, procedures, and clinical practice guidelines, performing daily hot lab procedures such as reconstitution of radiopharmaceuticals, quality control of radiopharmaceuticals, and equipment, and attending and contributing to staff and departmental meetings. The NMT will also be available for participation in the rotating shift roster at all sites and afterhours on call.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:

Diploma / Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science in Nuclear Medicine

AHPRA Registration.
-
Cannulation experience would be preferred but not essential.
-
Experience in hot lab kit preparation, patient dose administration and imaging.

*Please refer to salary circular for Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
