On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing
The Oncology Application Specialist is primarily responsible for providing end user support, training, configuration and maintenance for the CHARM® [Oncology] application. The role will provide level 2 service desk support for the CHARM® application, and its use alongside other Peninsula Health clinical and administrative applications. This newly created role will be a key resource in the Digital Health Team, and will work closely with Peninsula Health’s Oncology Services, Clinical Directors, Pharmacy and Information Technology teams. The role will also be the lead contact representing Peninsula Health’s interests with the Oncology Application vendor.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in pharmacy, nursing, medicine or other relevant clinical discipline
- Demonstrated experience in health service delivery in an oncology environment
- Demonstrated experience using an oncology application, or similar clinical information system
- Strong knowledge of hospital environments and associated clinical workflows

*Please refer to the Nurses And Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single Interest Employer Agreement 2024-2028Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists Victorian Public Sector (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 for salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
