What You Will Be Doing  

 

  • Independently manage primary, complex and revision hip and knee arthroplasty surgery
  • Exposure to different techniques including robotically assisted hip and knee arthroplasty
  • Assist in decision making with regards to the choice of implants, bearing surfaces and optimising fixation of implants
  • Management of bone loss in complex revision surgery
  • Extend knowledge of advanced techniques in dealing with complex peri-prosthetic fractures

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

What You Need 

 

We anticipate you will have: 

  • Medical degree and specialist qualifications in Orthopaedic surgery
  • Current medical registration with APHRA
  • Evidence of successful engagement in a multi-disciplinary health care team
  • Knowledge of best practice in this specialty field
