What You Will Be Doing
The Ward Clerk Administration role reports directly to the Outpatients Operations Business Manager and is responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception to patients and visitors within the Acute Outpatients Service. Additionally they provide efficient and effective general administrative and ward clerk duties for Outpatients staff respecting privacy and confidentiality at all times. This vacancy is a permanent part time poistion for 64 hours a fortnight.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Demonstrated competency in medical terminology is preferred.
- Measures and delivers outcomes in a timely manner
- Addresses priority tasks first
- Understands, and is able to use, common software applications and email.
- Effective, clear and courteous communication skills.
- Previous experience in an outpatient or patient reception setting in the health sector is desirable.
- Experience with the iPM patient processing system. (In particular the outpatient processing component) is desirable.
- Ability to manage a multi-line telephone system is desirable.

*Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
