What You Will Be Doing   

We are looking for an Outreach worker on a part time basis to provides support to identified disadvantaged women and their families during pregnancy to complement existing services by:

• Linking women into clinical and social services earlier
• Providing additional community-based support that is beyond the capacity of current services
• Promoting a continuum of care for women and their families through strong collaboration with Maternity and Maternal and Child Health Services as well as other Community services.

What You Need  

We anticipate you will have:  

• Recognised qualification in Social Work (Bachelor or Master of Social Work) and eligible for membership of Australian Association of Social Workers
• Demonstrated skills in assessing the needs of women and their families during pregnancy
• Demonstrated skills in engagement with diverse and vulnerable families

*Please refer to the 'Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026'  salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
