The Team & Role
The clinical support nurse provides guidance, education, and support to students, graduates and novice nurses in the clinical environment. They work closely with the Learning Hub educators and the Nurse Unit Managers to ensure learners are provided with a supported and quality learning experience focussed on risk mitigation, and the development of staff along the novice to expert continuum.
This role is essential in fostering the development of high quality clinical skills, professional attitudes, and foundational knowledge, ensuring learners and novice nurses are well-prepared to deliver safe and evidence based practice.

Skills and Experience Required
- Health Professional qualification and registration as applicable to profession.
- Postgraduate qualifications in education, leadership, research or relevant clinical area.
- At least four years of acute clinical experience (>2 years in the specialty area)
- Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners.
