What You Will Be Doing
The Personal Care Worker practices under the direction of client care managers and the HCP/SaH Team Leader whilst retaining the responsibility for their personal actions; monitoring and communicating client condition to the Home Care manager as indicated. Personal Care Workers provide transportation, shopping assistance, house cleaning, personal hygiene, meal preparation and other health and wellness related activities.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) (or equivalent) and have twelve months experience (full time equivalent) OR
- A Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015) (or equivalent) and has six months experience (full time equivalent) in Aged care
- Current and valid Victorian Drivers Licence and willing to drive reliable registered and comprehensively insured vehicle (mileage reimbursed where fleet cars are not available)
- Ability to work within a flexible roster system
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of the issues confronting people who are aged and /or people with disabilities in their home or in the community and awareness of the diverse needs of clients.
- Adaptable and empathic approach to care delivery putting the client at the centre of all interactions

*Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
