What You Will Be Doing
As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you are responsible for working closely within the subacute multidisciplinary team to maximise patient discharge outcomes through the provision of high quality and evidence based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning. You are also responsible for the supervision of undergraduate physiotherapy students, Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants.
The Mornington Centre campus comprises three 30-bed inpatient geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) wards. This role will provide physiotherapy management to a varied GEM caseload, including patients with neurological, orthopaedic, cardiopulmonary, bariatric, complex and general debility presentations. This successful applicant may be required to undertake physiotherapy services at any site or ward as directed by the Head of Physiotherapy.

What You Need
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience and competence in physiotherapy management of GEM patients
• Demonstrated experience in the supervision of Physiotherapy staff and students
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous and innovative improvement through quality and research activities
• Ability to perform high quality patient Physiotherapy assessment and treatment and thorough and appropriate discharge planning
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage caseloads and non-clinical demands

*Please refer to salary circular for Health and Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
