What You Will Be Doing

To ensure the quality implementation of the Private Patient and Compensable Patient initiative at Peninsula Health by promoting awareness and assisting patients and their families in understanding the benefits of utilising their private health insurance.

Provide patients with Informed Financial Consent, ensuring Overseas Ineligible and Compensable patients and patients with private health insurance are identified at admission to maximise Peninsula Health’s revenue.

The successful applicant will be required to work Monday, Thursday and Friday and 1 weekend per month.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  •         Previous Experience billing Compensable Hospital Patients
  •         Previous Experience in receipting\banking
  •         High level of Accuracy and Attention to Detail
  •         Excellent Communication skills
  •         Experience with Microsoft Office
  •         Intermediate Excel skills  (desirable)

*Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers And Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
