On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing
The Procurement Partner plays an essential role in the Procurement Department by providing expert support in sourcing and contract management activities. This position involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, conducting market research, assisting with specification development, facilitating tender processes, and evaluating bids. The Procurement Partner ensures that all procurement activities adhere to probity and ethical standards while striving to achieve the best value for the organization. Leveraging solid procurement skills and knowledge, the Procurement Partner contributes to the strategic goals of the department, fosters collaborative relationships, and delivers exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive and analytical approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related field (Certificate or Diploma level).
- Proven experience in procurement, including specification development and review, preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation and reporting of outcome.Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in using procurement system such as iProc (Oracle) or similar platforms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically in Excel.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decision to optimise procurement process.
- Communication and Interpersonal skills: Well-developed presentation, communication and influencing skills.
- Problem solving and adaptability: Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions. Adaptable to shifting priorities, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Project Management Skills: Proven project management experience, with a track record of driving and implementing change initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines

*Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
