What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a Psychologist to work in a multi-disciplinary team to provide assessments for children in out of home or kinship care. You will play an important role in providing linkages and support to carers and child protection to support children who experience barriers to health care. This is an excellent professional growth opportunity to join our team at Peninsula Health on a part-time basis through to November 2026. If you are passionate about making a difference in the community via meaningful work with vulnerable client groups then we would love to hear from you!
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Fully Registered Psychologist with AHPRA
• Experience working within a trauma informed lens in assessment and intervention in
psychology practice with children.
• Experience working within a neurodevelopmental lens in psychology practice (desirable)

*Please refer to 'Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists Victorian Public Sector (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025' salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.

On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities.
