What You Will Be Doing
The Recruitment Coordinator will play a key role in supporting end-to-end recruitment processes across Nursing, Midwifery, and Mental Health portfolios within Peninsula Health. As part of the Nursing Recruitment Team, within the Workforce Bureau, this role will contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of recruitment strategies that promote timely, equitable, and effective hiring outcomes.
The Recruitment Coordinator will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and deliver recruitment strategies aligned with workforce planning and organisational goals. You’ll partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define job requirements, and ensure role expectations are clearly understood.
Operating within a centralised, end-to-end recruitment model, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle—including advertising, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
As a key point of contact for both candidates and internal stakeholders, you’ll provide timely updates and support throughout the recruitment process. Your contribution will help enhance the candidate experience and ensure a smooth and positive onboarding journey.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Working knowledge of the Nursing & Midwifery and Mental Health EBA
• Completion of or working towards a Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources
• Demonstrated knowledge of People Hub or other recruitment programs
• Ability to prepare reports and other written communication clearly and concisely with all relevant information

*Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
