The Team & Role
Peninsula Care Group has entered an exciting new chapter following the successful merger with Bayside Health and the opening of our newly redeveloped hospital facilities. This transformation has created a larger, more integrated health service focused on innovation, collaboration, and delivering exceptional care across our communities.
As the Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting workforce delivery within this newly unified organisation. Working across the Nursing, Midwifery, and Mental Health portfolios, you will contribute to the attraction, onboarding, and coordination of end‑to‑end recruitment activities that support contemporary service delivery and workforce sustainability.
As a member of the Nursing Recruitment Team within the Workforce Bureau, this role contributes to the ongoing development, implementation, and monitoring of recruitment strategies that enable timely, equitable, and high‑quality hiring outcomes in a complex, fast‑paced healthcare environment.
You will work closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand workforce requirements, clarify role expectations, and deliver recruitment solutions that align with broader workforce planning and organisational priorities.
Operating within a centralised, end‑to‑end recruitment model, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, pre‑employment checks, and onboarding.
As a key point of contact for both candidates and internal stakeholders, you will provide clear communication, timely updates, and responsive support throughout the recruitment
Skills & Experience Required
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources discipline or extensive experience in healthcare recruitment specialist role
- Demonstrated recruitment and selection experience, ideally in a complex environment
- Knowledge of and experience in recruitment models and current best practice in attraction and selection
- Demonstrated knowledge of Success Factors or other recruitment programs
