What You Will Be Doing

Peninsula Health Women’s Health Unit divides the ward into two separate work spaces – inpatient and Labour and assessment zone, with each space, every shift being led by an AMUM.

The Registered Midwife is a valued and integral member of the Peninsula Health multidisciplinary team demonstrating flexibility in caring for patients and their families across the organisation. The Midwife works competently within their scope of practice to
deliver safe, evidence based person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife
• Completion of a Midwifery Graduate Year or equivalent experience
• Valid Victorian Drivers Licence
• Valid Victorian Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

*Please refer to salary circular Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employer) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
