What You Will Be Doing
Peninsula Health is seeking a Registered Nurse, or suitably experience Enrolled Nurse, to work in the new Pharmacotherapy service. The Pharmacotherapy service provides a welcoming and inclusive service for people needing access to opioid Pharmacotherapy treatment and additional healthcare.

 

The Pharmacotherapy nurse will be part of the small multidisciplinary team working alongside general practitioners, registered nurse leader and lived experience staff to provide pharmacotherapy services to clients, and support the day to day running of the clinic.

 

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:

 

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration or Enrolled Nurse (with extensive experience) with current AHPRA Registration
  • Previous alcohol and other drug (AOD) experience
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills of working with patients on opioid pharmacotherapy (desirable)
  • Familiarity with long-acting injecting buprenorphine formulations (desirable)
