What You Will Be Doing

 

The Post Graduate Nursing Program (Mental Health) is a supported contracted position that enables the staff member to gain additional mental health nursing skills and expertise whilst continuing to undertake post graduate studies. The post graduate program offers the staff member to experience a range of rotation options in the inpatient/bed based services or a bespoke program within the community teams. The program offers further support from the education team, a range of specialist study days and paid study leave to dedicate towards completion of post graduate studies.

What You Need


We anticipate you will have:

 

• A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Completed a graduate program in Mental Health Nursing or a Mental Health Transition to Speciality Practice Program

• Completed or Enrolment in an approved higher education course that leads to completion of the Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or higher

• The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team engaging with consumers from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds

• Availability to work across all shifts

• Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high standard of person centred care motivated and self-directed learner

*Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
