On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing
Are you looking for a rewarding nursing career with opportunities for career growth and advancement? We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our team in our Specialty Medicine - Renal, Acute Care of the Elderly Ward at Frankston Hospital.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality care within the multidisciplinary team, working within your scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based person centred care in line with Peninsula Health's values. We have permanent and fixed term full time and part time opportunities available.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Completion of a graduate year or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumer
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experienc

*Please refer to Nurses And Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single Interest Employer Agreement 2024-2028 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
