What You Will Be Doing
The Registered Nurse works under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager and Associate Nurse Unit Manager (2 West). In conjunction with the multidisciplinary staff, the Registered Nurse provides recovery orientated care to inpatient consumers of the service and their families, carers and supporters. In order to achieve their position outcomes the Registered Nurse will develop effective partnerships with all staff including medical, nursing and allied health staff.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Completion of a graduate year program or equivalent experience
- Experience working in an inpatient mental health setting
- Post Graduate Qualification in Mental Health Nursing or enrolled to complete
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the principles of Recovery Orientated practice in Mental Health Care
- Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, and the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards including EQuIP and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
