What You Will Be Doing  

The Research Fellow will undertake independent and collaborative research to improve health outcomes through evidence-based nursing and midwifery practices. The role is embedded in partnership between Monash University’s School of Nursing and Midwifery and Peninsula Health, Victoria’s leading public health service on the Mornington Peninsula.

As the Research Fellow you will develop and lead high quality research aligned with nursing and midwifery priorities. You will engage  in research with clinicians, patients and other relevant stakeholders.

This position will  involve the preparation of research proposals, grant applications, systematic and integrative reviews of literature, preliminary data analysis, drafting  research publications and communication of research.

What You Need  

We anticipate you will have:  

A doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline area or equivalent qualifications or research experience; and 

A bachelor’s degree in nursing and/or, midwifery, and

Valid AHPRA Registration.

*Please refer to Nurses And Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single Interest Employer Agreement 2024-2028  salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
